You want to know what we're all about eh? Is Halo the nightclub version to those who stand on street corners and preach with a megaphone? No...
The whole purpose of Halo is:
to provide an alternative to the main-stream nightclubs in the city to highlight that getting drunk is not necessarily essential to having a good night out. With all the atmosphere and fun of a club, but without the often associated alcohol and drugs culture. Promoted to both Christian and secular young people as a safe, social, cross-cultural, community, non-religious venue.
Halo is managed and run by a group of Christians, however the views of the management will not be imposed on those attending. Faith-based information, counselling and prayer will only be offered on request. Initially all staff at Halo will be un-paid volunteers until the venue is established and self-funding. It is proposed that Halo would remain a self-reinvesting, non-profit venture.
